Dr Tymofii Brik wygłosi wykład pt. „Ukraine: 30 Years of Data on Social Change and Cohesion”.
Seminarium odbędzie się 23 stycznia o godz. 12.30 w sali 152 w budynku głównym SGH i będzie prowadzone w języku angielskim.
Using data on trust, values, identities, and political attitudes, the talk portrays Ukraine as a complex and transforming society with strong aspirations toward democracy and EU integration. The lecture will highlight findings from the European Social Survey alongside other national data sources. While some indicators suggest polarization, others point to convergence – offering a nuanced picture of cohesion and social change under extreme pressure. A central focus will be Ukraine’s resilience during wartime. The talk will explore why Ukrainian society has remained robust, drawing on perspectives from local governance, historical legacies, and national identity.
