Courses & Learning Agreement

Information on courses' selection and Learning Agreement for incoming exchange students

Course selection takes place in STUDENT’S SECTION of USOS system.

Every year, SGH publishes on the Virtual Dean’s Office a course offer for the next academic year (Teaching programmes and study plans)

However, as courses at SGH open ON DEMAND, the offer is usually narrowed down (this specifically applies to elective courses) based on students’ responses received during the first course registration stage, the so-called Preferences.

For a course to be opened a certain number of students has to declare it during the Preferences stage. Preliminary course schedules are published around 2 months after Preferences (subject to slight changes, courses are cancelled only in exceptional cases).

This is the time when student should discuss her/his study plan with home coordinator and prepare “Learning Agreement – Before-the mobility”. Student still will be able to change her/his Learning Agreement afterwards, as there will be more (at least 2) course registration stages. Student must make sure to finally reflect any changes to original Learning Agreement in during-the-mobility part of the LA (so-called: Exceptional Changes to Learning Agreement).

According to the requirements of the Erasmus+ programme, exchange student should take 30 ECTS/semester. A minimum number of ECTS required by SGH is 21 ECTS/semester. Any details of student’s study plan should be discussed and agreed with home university before the semester starts. Recognition of student’s outcomes (grades and credits) is solely managed by sending university.

Please check the Pre-arrival guide for approximate dates of registration stages:

Course schedules are published on the websites of respective Dean’s offices:
