Admission to the above-mentioned forms and fields of study is joint. After applying through the ISR system, you can choose up to six forms or fields of study, but you can only be admitted to one. You should therefore rank your choices in order of preference, from most to least preferred.
Below, you can familiarize yourself with the subsequent stages of the admission procedure:
- 1. Creating a personal account in the Internet Registration System
Create your personal account in the Internet Registration System (ISR). The date of account creation does not determine your eligibility for studies. All activities related to the admission process will be carried out through the ISR until the document submission stage. Important information can always be found in the system’s notifications section – read them regularly and carefully, as they will be crucial for your admissions process.
Internet Registration System- 2. Registration in the Internet Registration System
Registration for studies (the possibility of joining the admission process) begins on June 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. and lasts until June 18, 2026, 3:00 p.m. The registration process consists of selecting the appropriate studies “join” option in the ISR system and:
- entering basic personal details and information about your education (degree details or ‘currently studying’ status);
- selecting the forms or fields of study and ranking them in order of preference from most to least preferred (candidates may choose up to 6 from among the available forms or fields of study, but may only be admitted to one);
- making the application fee payment to the individual bank account number indicated on the candidate’s personal application account.
Do not delay your application for master’s studies. Even if you plan to defend your thesis in July, register in the ISR system and select the “I do not have a diploma yet” option while registering.

- 3. Qualification procedure
In the case of full-time studies in Polish, there are two admission routes:
- Admission through open recruitment. If you graduated from a university other than SGH or are SGH’s graduate from previous years, you can only participate in the admission process on the basis of the results of WOG exam – a qualifying test verifying candidates’ economic knowledge and economics-oriented foreign language proficiency.

Economic knowledge WOG exam
- Admission through grade point average-based recruitment. As part of the admission process of SGH first-cycle graduates (full-time, part-time afternoon or part-time Saturday-Sunday), the following may be admitted for the first time in this mode:
- SGH students who have obtained at least 180 ECTS points and at the same time achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 for all courses completed during their finished semesters of study;
- SGH first-cycle graduates who have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 and obtained a bachelor’s degree at SGH between October 1, 2025, and July 21, 2026.
If you meet the admission requirements based on your grade point average but believe that you have a better chance of being admitted through the open recruitment admission process, you may decide to do so until the registration deadline.
Part time studies in Polish, and full-time studies in English:
The qualification criterion for part-time studies in Polish (except for Analiza danych – big data, and Metody ilościowe w ekonomii i systemy informacyjne) and full-time studies in English is the time of registration, which is understood as the date and time of joining the appropriate enrolment (selecting the level of studies) in the Internet Registration System.
The admission criterion for part-time Analiza danych – big data, and Metody ilościowe w ekonomii i systemy informacyjne is the result of WOG exam.
Please bear in mind that the order of applications for part-time studies in Polish and full-time studies in English is determined on the basis of the time of joining the appropriate enrolment in the Internet Registration System and not factors such as the time of making the application fee payment, uploading your photo, or filling in the required tabs.
If your preferences include full-time and part-time fields of study, two separate qualification criteria will be applied. For full-time programmes in Polish – the exam result (or the average in the case of selecting the SGH graduate enrolment mode), and for Polish part-time and English full-time programmes the moment of joining the admission process, as defined above.
- Admission through open recruitment. If you graduated from a university other than SGH or are SGH’s graduate from previous years, you can only participate in the admission process on the basis of the results of WOG exam – a qualifying test verifying candidates’ economic knowledge and economics-oriented foreign language proficiency.
- 4. Documents submission
After a successful qualification for one of the preferred programmes, you will receive a message in the ISR system inviting you to submit your documents and book an appointment. A tab with documents to print will be unlocked in your personal application account after entering additional information about your future language courses, student ID, etc.
Failure to submit documents by the deadline specified in the admissions schedule will result in rejection of your admission to the programme.
You can submit documents to SGH in person or through a representative. In the latter case, a power of attorney signed by the candidate will be required.
You may find a list of required documents in the following tab:
IMPORTANT: Documents required for submission cannot be sent by mail or courier.
- 5. Further qualification procedure
After the lists of candidates for individual programmes and fields of study have been published, you will either:
- be qualified for your highest preference. In this case, all you have to do is submit your documents and start your studies;
- be qualified for a preference other than your highest one. In this case, you should submit your documents within the specified deadline and declare your willingness to participate in the next admission round if you are not satisfied with the lowest preference. If, after recalculation, you are qualified for a higher preference, you will automatically be transferred to it, and in case of unsuccess, you will be admitted to the form or field of study for which you originally submitted the documents.
IMPORTANT: Please remember that submitting your documents is a prerequisite for participating in the recalculation process; - not be qualified for any of your selected preferences. In this case, you can declare your willingness to participate in the next admission round in the ISR system.
The decision on conducting an additional admission round is made by the University Admissions Committee, provided that the admission limit has not been reached as a result of the completed document verification round. The Committee may launch no more than two round of additional qualification.
- 6. End of the admission process and appeals
Once you have completed all the necessary steps, you will be entered on the list of students. You will receive instructions on how to log in to the student systems, through which you will take further steps related to your studies.
If you are not accepted, you will receive a decision from the University Admissions Committee stating the reason for your rejection. You may appeal against this decision in accordance with the following rules:
- Important information
- You can complete and change the data entered in the Internet Registration System until the registration deadline.
- You can change your personal details (nationality, PESEL number, date of birth and gender) if you have not yet selected your level of study. Otherwise, you must deregister from your current admission process, change your details and join the appropriate admission process again. Any change, if you are participating in the admission process for part-time and full-time studies in English, will change the date of your registration and, in consequence, your place on the list in the overall qualification.
- You can update your contact details in the ISR until the end of the admission process, understood as being entered on the list of students or receiving a decision of non-admission to studies.
- The deadline for paying the application fee expires on the day of closing the registration in the ISR.
- Do not forget to check the messages and notifications in the ISR.
- SGH has introduced standards for the protection of minors. These are a set of internal rules, principles, and practices to be followed in situations where there is suspicion of harm to minor, and to ensure their safety.
