The most frequent answers that candidates to SGH give when asked about their choice of Poland’s leading university of economics include the quality of education, the prestigious diploma and the greatest development opportunities. However, SGH offers much more than its prestige. The university provides students with countless opportunities, while SGH diplomas have guaranteed success on the national and international labour markets for years.
ACADEMIC STAFF – LECTURERS WITH BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

The SGH lectures are delivered by the most prominent Polish and foreign experts in finance, economics, management, and other areas related to economic knowledge and social sciences. Students attend classes taught, among others, by the staff of the National Bank of Poland, experts and employees of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, representatives of public institutions, specialists combining their didactic work with business practice.
AN ACTIVE STUDENT COMMUNITY
SGH is recognised for maintaining a very active student life. Students have over 60 organisations and research clubs at their disposal, which enable them to develop their interests in business, innovation, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility and marketing. Due to these organisations, students can build the skills and competences they acquire during their studies by implementing projects, organising conferences, workshops and charity actions. The experience which graduates gain through such activities is valuable for employers. These include the Macroeconomic Congress, the Diplomacy Action or the SGH Business Game, which are regular events organised by SGH students.

KEY TO SUCCESS
– Providing good education is not our ultimate goal, says Professor Krzysztof Kozłowski, the Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs. Being successful is only a notch above average. Instead, we want the young people who enter our university to realise that the key to success is not only what we present during lectures or what we are able to provide as part of scientific programmes or international cooperation. The key to success can be found when looking at our students and successful graduates. SGH gives opportunity to develop a personal vision, and you should take advantage of it.
