Inauguration of the academic year 2026/2027
The Inauguration of the Academic Year 2026/2027 will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in the Main Auditorium of the SGH main building.

The event will be streamed on YouTube in Polish, with interpretation into Polish Sign Language (PJM), live captions in Polish and English, and simultaneous interpretation into English.

The Inauguration of the Academic Year 2025/2026 was held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The inaugural lecture, titled “Challenges of the Contemporary Economy,” was delivered by Dr Henryka Bochniarz.

The inaugural lecture titled: “World, Europe, Poland” was delivered by Professor Danuta Hübner.

The Inauguration of the Academic Year 2023/2024 was held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
The inaugural lecture titled: “Family Business as a Public Good” was delivered by Professor Jan Klimek.
At the end of the ceremony, on the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Wisława Szymborska, we listened to the poems of the Polish Nobel Prize winner.
