Summer and Winter Schools

Information about summer and winter schools abroad available to SGH students

SGH students can participate in summer and winter schools organised both by SGH partner universities and by other universities around the world. Students participating in such schools have the opportunity to obtain ECTS credits for the courses carried out within the program.

Recognition of subjects completed by a student during the summer or winter school as substitutes of subjects from the SGH offer requires the completion of formalities applicable at a given degree of study

To obtain recognition of ECTS credits, it is necessary to obtain the Dean’s consent and prepare the following documents before departure:

  • Learning Agreement (2 copies printed on both sides, filled in electronically)
  • Application - request for leave (2 copies electronically filled in)
  • Acceptance letter
  • Mandatory health and accident insurance

These documents should be delivered to Ms Nadiya Skyba at the International Center where you will receive further instructions.

After the end of the summer/winter school to obtain recognition the following documents should be submitted to International Centre:

  • Learning Agreement signed by the host university
  • course recognition form
  • list of grades for subjects completed as part of the summer/winter School (Transcript of Records)

The costs of participation in summer and winter schools and all other costs related to the implementation of the program are covered by the student from his own funds.
