Vice-Rector for Development in 2020–2024 and Director of the Institute of Markets and Competition in 2013–2024. Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration from 2012 to 2020. A graduate of SGPiS (now SGH), he also earned both his doctoral and post-doctoral degrees there. His research work is in the theory of economics and applied economics, focusing on entrepreneurship, family businesses, competition theory and strategies, agricultural economics, food security and globalisation. Author, co-author and academic editor of dozens of books, textbooks and articles on micro- and macroeconomics, agricultural economics, globalisation, entrepreneurship, family businesses, sustainable development and competitive business strategies.
