IMPK SGH.FutureLeaders.Bridge

Financed under the NAWA SPINAKER programme, the IMPK Project is designed to educate a new generation of leaders who are ready to face the challenges of a global, multicultural world.

The target groups are:

  1. Students from economics universities and business schools in countries with high development potential, including Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, Thailand, Egypt, Mauritius, Morocco, South Africa and Nigeria.
To increase the representation of women among future leaders, the recruitment process favours female students.
  2. SGH academic faculty will conduct classes, participate in training and serve as independent assessors to validate learning outcomes.

Program and Innovative Didactics

The course covers five key thematic areas:

  • Modern Leadership.
  • Business Ethics and ESG for Future Leaders.
  • Global Business Context.
  • Innovative Investment Projects.
  • The Use of AI in Business.

There is a special emphasis on modern teaching methods, including an intensive business simulation game. This game involves managing an innovative enterprise while taking into account sustainable development requirements.

Scientific studies (e.g. those by the MIT Sloan School of Management) compare management games to flight simulators in that they allow students to make decisions and immediately observe the consequences.

The aim of participating in the simulation is to equip participants with practical decision-making skills in a dynamic business environment, as well as strengthening their teamwork skills in a multicultural context.

Digital micro-credentials

The project will also pilot a system of digital micro-credentials (digital badges). These will enable course participants to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to employers worldwide in a universally understandable format.
