The aim of the project is threefold and includes:

  1. to show the current and possible future position of CEE countries in global and regional value chains;
  2. to describe the impact of the effects of Covid-19 on changes in these chains, with particular emphasis on the desire to regionalise them;
  3. to explain how CEE economies and enterprises can move up the value chain by capturing higher value-added activities or gaining greater control over the entire value chain.
