Meeting with prof. Sergei Guriev, the author of the book “Spin Dictators: The Changing Face of Tyranny in the 21st Century”

A critical introduction to main theses of the monograph will be given by prof. Agnieszka Chłoń-Domińczak, PhD, Director of the SGH Institute of Statistics and Demography, and also the Vice-Rector for Research at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.  Then, Prof. Sergei Guriev will deliver a short lecture covering main subject of the book. The meeting will be chaired by Mrs. Karolina Zbytniewska, editor-in-chief of Euroactiv.pl. Afterwards, Prof. Guriev will be signing his book at the SGH bookstore.

The meeting will be held in connection with the publication of a Polish version of the book “Spin Dictators. The New Face of Tyranny in the 21st Century” by Wydawnictwo Otwarte, which Sergei Guriev co-wrote with Daniel Treisman in 2022.
