For students, who will submit the thesis until 31st of May 2024 (included) and fulfill the requirements governing to the defence of the thesis, they will be held in July 2024.
For the date of bachelor thesis defence to be set, following steps are necessary:
- student upload the bachelor thesis to APD system and the personal questionnaire send to obrony.licencjat@sgh.waw.pl,
- the assistant prepares the completion of studies and verifies it everything is passed, according to the plan of studies,
- the thesis is forwarded to the reviewer (via APD system) according to the supervisor’s guidelines,
- the reviewer sends the review to the Dean’s office,
- date of defence is given within 3 months from the date of meeting the criteria required to take the diploma examination.
According to the paragraph 39 of Rules and Regulations, the requirement to be able to take the bachelor exam is for the student to fulfill the requirements of the binding study programme, including the study plan, that the reviewer and the promoter grade the thesis of at least 3. 0 and that he/she has paid the financial obligations to the SGH.
Schedule of defences
Final date is given 7 days before the defence via e-mail send to adress in SGH domain.
Students waiting for the defense of the bachelor thesis are also obliged to check the date on the website.
Please check the initial schedule of defences up to date – dates can change.
Detailed schedules of bachelor defencese with names of students who will take the bachelor exam, time of exam and room where it takes place will be availabe on website and send by e-mail in SGH domain – @sgh.waw.pl, a week before planned date of defence.
