Admission to SGH
Admission to Master’s programmes at SGH is based on the positive verification of educational documents and confirmation of English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level, confirmation of English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level, as well as compliance with formal requirements. The university operates a rolling admission process.
Applicants may indicate multiple preferences (full-time studies, programmes taught in English), but can ultimately be admitted to only one form of study.
Admission Requirements
A completed first-cycle degree is required.
For programmes taught in English, applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency in accordance with SGH regulations – this requirement also applies to native speakers.
Recognition of foreign diplomas
International applicants are advised to check whether they require the recognition statement. Starting from 1 July 2025, holders of degree diplomas issued by foreign universities are required to submit information from the Director of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) confirming the right to apply for admission to higher education in Poland on its basis.
For educational documents issued outside the EU, OECD, and EFTA countries’ educational systems, a decision of the Director of NAWA on the recognition of the school-leaving certificate or diploma is required.
No Additional Entrance Examination
Applicants to Master’s degree programmes are not required to take an entrance examination — qualification is based on the evaluation of application documents and compliance with formal requirements.
Deadlines and Required Documents
The admission process follows a strict schedule.
Applicants from non‑EU countries must additionally plan sufficient time for obtaining a student visa and completing the legalisation of stay in Poland.
