Twórcza destrukcja: wykład prof. Philippe’a Aghiona w SGH
Stagnacja sekularna, pułapka średniego dochodu oraz obawy związane ze sztuczną inteligencją – to główne wątki wykładu zatytułowanego „Twórcza siła destrukcji, czyli rewolucja AI”. Wygłosił go prof. Philippe Aghion, laureat Nagrody Banku Szwecji im. Alfreda Nobla w dziedzinie nauk ekonomicznych z 2025 r., podczas ceremonii wręczenia dyplomu potwierdzającego nadanie mu tytułu doktora honoris causa Szkoły Głównej Handlowej w Warszawie. Uroczystość miała miejsce w SGH 29 października 2026 r.
Nakłady na B+R a konkurencyjność gospodarki – prezentacja raportu Instytutu Gospodarki Światowej SGH
Znaczenie działalność badawczo-rozwojowej (B+R) w kształtowaniu zdolności konkurencyjnej Polski na tle państw Unii Europejskiej to motyw przewodni tegorocznej publikacji „Polska. Raport o konkurencyjności 2026”, której główne wnioski zostały zaprezentowane 22 października br. podczas XXI edycji konferencji Instytutu Gospodarki Światowej SGH pt. „Ekosystemy B+R i międzynarodowa konkurencyjność: Strategie na przyszłość”.
Pracownicy SGH dzielą się wnioskami z polskiej transformacji ustrojowej z kubańskimi ekonomistami
Szkoła Główna Handlowa w Warszawie rozwija współpracę ekspercką z Ambasadą RP w Hawanie, dzieląc się polskimi doświadczeniami transformacji ustrojowej. Już 24 października 2026 r. rozpocznie się cykl webinariów dla kubańskich ekonomistów, poświęcony reformom, które umożliwiły Polsce przejście od gospodarki centralnie planowanej do nowoczesnej gospodarki rynkowej.

Prospects for development of Polish economy – OECD report
The presentation of the OECD report entitled “POLAND 2025” took place on 4 February 2025. This event seems to have been so important, I mean the report itself as well as the seminar organised on the occasion of its publication at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, that it is worth formulating the most important conclusions about the Polish economy and the prospects for its development in the short, medium and long term.
SGH is the highest‑ranked economics university in Poland, placed 1st in the Perspektywy 2026 and Rzeczpospolita rankings.
