School contests and sporting achievements

The applicant may receiva qualification points according to their performance in national school contests. The list of eligible contests is presented in the table below.

When submitting documents, the applicant is required to present the original certificate issued by the committee organising the contest in question. School contests’ prerogatives are valid in the year of passing the maturity exam and within next three years.
 

• Olimpiada Przedsiębiorczości
  • Laureates and finalists receive the maximum possible amount of points in the admission process (433 pts) and are not invited to take the WOP entry test.
• Selected national school contects:
  • Olimpiada Wiedzy Ekonomicznej,
  • Olimpiada Fizyczna,
  • Olimpiada Geograficzna,
  • Ogólnopolska Olimpiada Historyczna,
  • Ogólnopolska Olimpiada Języka Angielskiego,
  • Olimpiada Języka Francuskiego,
  • Olimpiada Języka Hiszpańskiego,
  • Ogólnopolska Olimpiada Języka Niemieckiego,
  • Olimpiada Matematyczna,
  • Wiedza o Polsce i Świecie Współczesnym,
  • Olimpiada Informatyczna,
  • Olimpiada Wiedzy o Finansach “Finansomania”
    • Laureates and finalists of selected national school contests’ final round receive 333 pts in the admission process and may take the WOP entry test.
• Olimpiada Statystyczna:
  • Laureates and finalists at the central level receive the maximum number of points possible (133 pts) for mathematics as a subject in the maturity exam.
• Olimpiada “Losy żołnierza i dzieje oręża polskiego”:
  • Laureates and finalists at the central level receive the maximum number of points possible (133 pts) for history as a subject in the maturity exam.
     

The candidate may be awarded additional qualification points for various sporting achievements in a discipline governed by the Polish Sports Association. Only the highest-ranking achievement will be taken into account.

• 100 points for participation in Olympic or Paralympic Games;
• 50 points for participation in the World Championships, European Championships or European Games in junior or older category;
• 40 points for participation in the highest-class contest in the national league hierarchy in a given age category, in teams sport, in at least one match in the period from January 1, 2024 to the last day of the first-cycle studies registration;
• 40 points for winning a Polish Championship medal in junior or older category match in the period from January 1, 2024 to the last day of the first-cycle studies registration;
• 30 points for membership in the Polish national team in the junior or senior category or participation in the Academic league in the current calendar year;
• 30 points for participation in second-level competitions in the national league hierarchy in a given age category, in team sports games in the period from January 1, 2024, to the start of registration for first-cycle studies, if the league hierarchy of a given discipline includes at least three levels of competitions;
• 30 points for places in the Polish Championships in the junior or older category in the last two years counted until the day of the registration for the first-cycle studies opening;
• 20 points for participation in the top six teams in team sports in the Polish Championships in the junior or older category in the last two years counted until the day of the registration for the first-cycle studies opening;
• 20 points for participation in third-level competitions in the national league hierarchy in a given age category, in team sports games in at least one of the seasons of the last two years, if the league hierarchy of a given discipline includes at least five stages of games – the two years are counted until the day of the registration for the first-cycle studies opening;

The above achievements need to be documented by an original certificate issued by the relevant Polish Sports Association. The total number of points to be gained in the qualifying procedure cannot exceed 433 points.
