The goal of the seminars is to create a forum for in-depth discussions in a less formal manner about current challenges for the cities. We see resilience, that is the ability to maintain high quality urban environment, providing for the societal needs as one of the most important aims of contemporary economics and politics. We see cooperation and exchange of knowledge, ideas, and shared perspectives as one of the best methods by which such resilience can be ensured. We warmly welcome academics, practitioners, and interested urban dwellers to join the debate.

Speakers:
- Dr. Hanna Szemző (Metropolitan Research Institute, Budapest): sociologist and historian, managing director of Metropolitan Research Institute in Budapest with extensive experience in research and consultancy in urban development and heritage.
- Dominika Brodowicz (SGH Warsaw School of Economics): adjunct in the Department of Real Estate Market and Innovative City, specializes in future-oriented research;
- Maciej Czeredys (Sinfonia Varsovia): expert of heritage adaptation and relations between institutional and spatial challenges;
Olga Milczyńska (NÓW New Craft Poland): ceramic artist, exhibiting her work in Poland and abroad, vice-President of Nów. New Craft Poland association; - Iryna Sklokina (Center for Urban History, Lviv) (online): historian, specializes in industrial and Soviet heritage in Donbas and Lviv;
- Moderator – Katarzyna Sadowy (Prof. SGH): associate professor at Department of Local Government Economy and Financing, specializes in spatial aspects of the economy.
