About the Program

CGMA® University Program at SGH delivered by AICPA & CIMA in cooperation with leading universities in Poland, enables students to start pursuing the CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accounting) Professional Qualification while still studying.
The CGMA Qualification is a unique solution on the Polish market, combining finance and business. The qualification program is developed in collaboration with employers to best address their current and future needs. The qualification equips students with a set of professional tools necessary for making strategic and operational business decisions, and it thoroughly prepares them for a career in the financial sector – regardless of their position. It has a long-standing reputation and is highly valued in the job market.

How it works?

The CGMA University Program at SGH Warsaw School of Economics is available to students of Bachelor and Master programs accredited by AICPA & CIMA. Candidates who complete all required subjects as part of the Program will be exempt from certain CIMA exams, and, after successfully passing the relevant final CGMA exam, will be able to obtain the Certificate in Business Accounting (Cert BA) or the Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Dip MA). These are official steps toward completing the CGMA Professional Qualification and obtaining the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.

How to register for the CGMA program?

1. Register for the interdisciplinary specialization SGH & CIMA through the USOSweb (Student tab>CGMA (CIMA))
2. Create and activate your account
   Create and activate your account
3. Complete the application form and enclose the required documents.
4. Wait for the positive verification of the application by the University Coordinator and AICPA & CIMA.
5. Receive further instructions on how to register with AICPA & CIMA and pay 99 GBP registration fee.
