Applying for support for people with disabilities and special needs
Students with disabilities and those experiencing chronic illnesses are entitled to receive supportive resources throughout their educational journey.
The Office of Accessibility and Support for People with Disabilities is responsible for issuing official certificates that can be presented to academic personnel.
This documentation provides essential insights that can aid in identifying the most appropriate accommodations tailored to the specific needs associated with the certificate holder’s disability or health condition.
To obtain this certificate, please contact the Office of Accessibility and Support for People with Disabilities and present your disability certificate or medical documentation (if you have no disability certificate).
Applications for either the new academic year or the fall semester only are accepted until 31 November of the year concerned.
Applications for the spring semester only are accepted until 31 March of the year concerned.

Accessibility Ambassadors at SGH
In 2024, by the decision of the Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics, a team of accessibility ambassadors was appointed. The task of accessibility ambassadors is to support:
- Persons with special needs – in the scope of informing them about the forms of support and accessibility available at SGH, as well as the procedures in force at SGH;
- SGH employees, to the extent necessary, to build awareness of the needs of people with special needs and the forms of support offered by SGH in this area.
The team of ambassadors consists of representatives of the academic and administrative staff of the University, who support candidates, students, doctoral students and employees of the University, according to the competences of the unit they represent.
