Warsaw Negotiation Conference. Negotiation Unlocked: Skills, Strategies & Solutions for Tomorrow

Event date:
7.05.2026, 13:00 - 18:15
We cordially invite you to the eighth edition of the Warsaw Negotiation Conference, organised by the Student Scientific Association Negocjator and the Institute of Human Capital. This year's theme, "Negotiation Unlocked: Skills, Strategies & Solutions for Tomorrow", reflects the conference’s commitment to advancing negotiation practice beyond conventional frameworks.

The programme explores the foundations of effective negotiation through an interdisciplinary lens, drawing on perspectives from business, human resources, law, and technology. Participants will engage with both practical tools and current case studies, spanning classical negotiation theory and the emerging role of artificial intelligence at the negotiating table.

Presentations by international scholars and practitioners will situate negotiation within broader analytical contexts – addressing its cultural dimensions, data-driven applications, and relational dynamics. Confirmed speakers include Philippe Gruca (lecturer in philosophy, psychology, and negotiation at IÉSEG School of Management); Prof. Horacio Falcão (Practice Professor of Management in Decision Sciences at INSEAD and Director of the Centre for Negotiation and Conflict Management); and Tina Sobocińska (HR strategist with over two decades of experience, former HR Director at PwC, DHL, and Schneider Electric, and founder of HR4future).

The conference also serves as a prelude to the seventeenth edition of the Warsaw Negotiation Round (WNR), Poland’s leading international negotiation competition, bringing together participants from top universities worldwide. The initiative was recognised with a prestigious award in the StRuNa competition as “Project of the Year” – one of the highest distinctions for student initiatives in Poland. This year’s tournament final will feature twelve of the world’s top student teams.
