The debate will show the whole spectrum of social groups that are marginalised and at risk of social exclusion. Invited experts will talk about the challenges that local governments and NGOs face in order to meet the needs of the elderly, people with disabilities, residents of crisis areas in the city and migrants – groups that are particularly numerous and vulnerable to marginalisation. The innovative strategies and practical solutions that help create more open, fair and welcoming urban spaces will be discussed as well. The debate will be a platform for the exchange of ideas and inspiration to build more inclusive cities that benefit from diversity.
