The Department of Economics II at SGH Warsaw School of Economics is organizing on April 21,2023 (Friday) an international conference “Towards New Frontiers in Economics. Diverse Models of Capitalism and Economic Policy in Turbulent Times”. The conference is aimed to provide a platform for scholarly debate on the diversity and key characteristic traits of contemporary capitalism for leading scholars from across Europe that work on issues from the fields of institutional economics, comparative economics, and political economy.
Additionally, during the conference members of the Department of Economics II will present their findings on the most salient features of the capitalism that emerged in Poland and other Central and Eastern European countries (i.e. patchwork capitalism).
Participation is free of charge. Registration is open till April 12 2023.
