Garden Party for SGH Community and Friends

The Garden Party is a gathering of the wider university community, including the University’s partners and alumni, and will take place outdoors on the SGH campus. Guests will be able to enjoy a range of attractions, including a chess tournament for the Rector’s Cup, a live jazz dance event and an open-air cinema.

Programme

14:00 – Opening of SGH Garden Party and admission of participants
14:30 – SGH Business Club meeting with special guest Paweł Borys
16:00 – Official opening of the event by the SGH authorities
16:30 – Start of the Rector’s Cup chess tournament
17:30 – Presentation of the Rector’s Cup to the tournament winner
18:00 – Live jazz dance event
20:00 – Open-air cinema
22:00 – Closing of the event

Paweł Borys, an SGH alumnus and one of Poland’s most experienced financial market executives, will share insights into the world of big business. After serving for many years as President of the Polish Development Fund, he is currently responsible for strategic investments as a Partner at MCI Capital.

The evening will also feature a performance by Antoni Zimnal, finalist of The Voice of Poland, who will perform with his band.

Participation is free of charge; however, prior registration is required.
