The conference will provide a forum for discussion on the key challenges facing the contemporary global economy, particularly the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In the context of growing geopolitical tensions, shifting relations among major powers, the climate crisis, and rapid technological development, we are confronted with fundamental questions about the role of the state and market mechanisms in shaping the global economic system. Particular attention will be devoted to Poland’s economic interests, with a focus on identifying the most effective strategies to ensure long-term competitiveness in a rapidly changing international environment.
The aim of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of views and the dissemination of research findings on the relationship between interventionism and the free market in the context of geopolitical change. We will focus on the implications of these developments for Poland and the broader Central and Eastern European region.
The conference will held in Polish.
