Professor Stéphane Pallage
Stéphane Pallage is a renowned economist, academic teacher, and education manager. Since 27 April 2023, he has held the position of the rector of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). In his research, Professor Pallage specialises in international macroeconomics, social policy, development aid, and child labour issues. He has authored numerous scientific publications, some of which have appeared in prestigious journals such as: the European Journal of Political Economy, Oxford Review of Economic Policy, Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Conflict Resolution, and International Economic Review.
Professor Pallage is affiliated with the Canadian Executive MBA (CEMBA) program, a joint initiative of UQAM and SGH. As Dean and Rector at UQAM, he played an active role in helping the CEMBA academic staff prepare the curriculum and organise the program.
The event is part of the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the CEMBA program at the SGH.
