You are cordially invited to the ceremonial unveiling of the bust of Professor Janina Jóźwiak, Patron of the Year 2026, which will take place on 14 January 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Main Hall in the Main Building of SGH.
Professor Janina Jóźwiak was an outstanding demographer of international standing, Rector of SGH from 1993 to 1996 and from 1996 to 1999, Director of the Institute of Statistics and Demography from 1999 to 2016, a reformer of higher education, and a distinguished advocate of cooperation between academia and business, as well as of the development of demography in Europe.
The event is held as part of the SGH 120th anniversary celebrations.
