The Rector and Senate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics cordially invite you to a ceremonial meeting of the SGH Senate, during which the Honorary Doctorate Diploma of SGH will be conferred upon Professor Philippe Aghion, recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
The title of Doctor Honoris Causa of SGH Warsaw School of Economics has been awarded to Professor Philippe Aghion in recognition of his outstanding contribution to economic theory, particularly in the fields of economic growth, innovation, and competition.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in Auditorium VII in the SGH main building.
