The fourth edition of the NDC Conference will focus on global megatrends and the challenges facing pension systems in the 21st century. The main area of interest will be issues related to the implementation and operation of Non-Financial Defined Contribution (NDC) pension systems in various countries, including Sweden, Poland, and Italy. During the conference, topics such as demographic change, population ageing, labour market developments, the gender perspective, and the long-term financial sustainability of social security systems will be discussed.
The conference will feature presentations by international experts, thematic sessions, panel discussions, and a keynote lecture delivered by Professor Peter Diamond, Nobel Prize laureate. The event will build on previous conferences held in Sandhamn, Stockholm, and Rome.
The “4th NDC Conference 2026: Global Megatrends and the Challenges for Pension Systems” will take place on 27–28 April 2026 at the SGH S Building, ul. Batorego 8.
The event is held as part of the SGH 120th anniversary celebrations.
