Regarding the entry into force of the Act of 24 April 2025 amending the Act on Foreigners and certain other acts, we wish to inform you that the rules for the admission of international candidates may be subject to change.
The changes include:
- a requirement to sit an entry exam, where applicable,
- an obligation to provide proof of proficiency in the language of instruction (B2 or higher),
- a requirement to submit a statement from the Director of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
Entry exam is assessing the knowledge required to undertake first-cycle (Bachelor’s) studies by an international candidate. The exam (on-line) verifies your ability to make simple matemathical calculations, logical reasoning and checka the basic knowledge of how the economy functions.
- The entry exam is conducted online in the form of single-choice tests with closed-ended questions. The candidate takes the exam in the language of instruction of the study programme to which they are applying. If the candidate is applying for programs taught in both Polish and English, they are required to take exams in both languages.
- Candidates applying for programs taught in Polish must take the entrance exam until 17 July 2025 3:00 PM (official Polish time). Only candidates who have successfully completed the registration process are eligible to sit the exam. The exam invitation will be delivered to the candidate via a message in the ISR system.
- A candidate applying for a program taught in English will receive an invitation to the exam immediately after the positive verification of their educational documents and confirmation of English language proficiency at the required level. The exam must be completed by the deadline for accepting the offer letter, as indicated in the admissions schedule. The invitation to the exam will be sent to the candidate via a message in the ISR system.
- The exam consists of 20 questions: 10 questions worth 1 point each and 10 questions worth 2 points each. The maximum number of points available is 30.
- The exam result determines whether the candidate has passed or failed. It does not contribute to the pool of qualification points awarded in the admissions process for a given level of study.
