Characteristics of the Collegium’s research activities
The Collegium of Business Administration is a leading and, at the same time, unique scientific and research unit in Poland, dealing with various theoretical and practical aspects of businesses and their environment. The research is interdisciplinary, being conducted from the perspective of economics, management sciences and finance, as well as management of businesses and strategies for their development in the modern market economy.
The main research area for the staff of the Collegium of Business Administration is the enterprise, functioning under the conditions of technological change and sustainable development requirements.
The research focuses on such aspects as:
1. The enterprise versus the challenges of Economy 4.0
2. An enterprise in the platform ecosystem
3. Sustainable business management
4. Business development in the green economy
Most of the research results have application value.
Research at the Collegium is carried out within the framework of (a) the research subsidy granted by the Ministry of Higher Education for the maintenance of the research potential of staff, within the Collegium’s call for proposal (under internal regulations) and (b) received grants (e.g. from the National Science Centre or the EU).
