Professor Gabriel Główka, PhD
Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration of Warsaw School of Economics, and Director of the Institute of Corporate Finance and Investment in 2016-2024. A graduate of the Faculty of Production Economics at SGPiS (legal predecessor of SGH), he obtained his doctoral and post-doctoral degrees at SGH. His research focuses mainly on the functioning of the real estate market, including its deficiencies, with a particular emphasis on the formation of price bubbles in housing markets, as well as the systems of financing real estate investments and mortgage banking. Author of publications on these topics. Also active in economic practice: previously in the banking sector and currently in the construction industry.

2005-2012; 1993-1999
Professor Andrzej Herman, PhD
Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration in 1993–1999 and 2003–2012; founder and long-time head of the Department of Small Business, transformed into the Institute of Value Management, where he held the position of director. A graduate of the Faculty of Production Economics at SGPiS, he earned both his doctoral and post-doctoral degrees there. His doctoral dissertation focused on student cooperative work as a means of generating income in Poland, while his post-doctoral thesis addressed issues surrounding socio-economic development within a socialist framework. In the early 1990s, he became actively involved in the process of reforming the SGH.

1999-2005
Professor Antoni Kantecki, PhD
Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration from 1999 to 2005; founder and long-time head of the Department of Marketing. From 1996 to 1999, he served as Vice-Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration. A graduate of the Faculty of Internal Trade of SGPiS, he obtained both his doctoral and post-doctoral degrees there. He devoted his doctoral dissertation to aspects of forward planning and his post-doctoral thesis to consumption in forward planning theory and practice. In the early 1990s, he became actively involved in the process of reforming the SGH. As Deputy Plenipotentiary of the Rector of SGH for the Collegium of Business Administration, he co-created the programme concept and structure of the Collegium.

2012-2020
Professor Roman Sobiecki, PhD
Vice-Rector for Development in 2020–2024 and Director of the Institute of Markets and Competition in 2013–2024. Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration from 2012 to 2020. A graduate of SGPiS (now SGH), he also earned both his doctoral and post-doctoral degrees there. His research work is in the theory of economics and applied economics, focusing on entrepreneurship, family businesses, competition theory and strategies, agricultural economics, food security and globalisation. Author, co-author and academic editor of dozens of books, textbooks and articles on micro- and macroeconomics, agricultural economics, globalisation, entrepreneurship, family businesses, sustainable development and competitive business strategies.
