Thematic track during the 13th Conference of HRM Departments

As part of the 13th Conference of HRM Departments (September 28–30, 2025), organized by the Department of Enterprise Management at AGH University of Krakow, the team from the Department of Organizational Behavior, Institute of Human Capital, comprising Dr. Anna Biłyk, Dr. Rafał Łabędzki, Dr. Katarzyna Mikołajczyk, and Prof. Agnieszka Wojtczuk-Turek, PhD (SGH), led an original thematic track titled: “Human Resource Management in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation”!

Our track enjoyed great popularity, featuring 22 presentations submitted by authors from academic institutions across Poland.

The scientific discussion focused on the opportunities and challenges associated with the implementation of AI-based solutions in human resource management practices within organizations.

During the conference, members of our team presented the following papers:

  • Dr. Anna Biłyk: “AI Applications in Support of Sustainable Human Resource Management: The Perspective of Recruitment, Selection, and Onboarding.”
  • Dr. Rafał Łabędzki: “Selected Technical Issues in Conducting Experimental Research in the Field of Human–AI Collaboration.”
  • Dr. Katarzyna Mikołajczyk: “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Requirements and Their Impact on Managers’ Well-being and Job Performance.”
  • Prof. Agnieszka Wojtczuk-Turek (co-authorship): “The Work Meaninglessness Questionnaire: Proposed Dimensions and Validation of a Measurement Tool.”

The paper co-authored by Prof. Agnieszka Wojtczuk-Turek and Prof. Dariusz Turek received a special distinction. Additionally, Prof. Wojtczuk-Turek participated in the Editors’ Panel devoted to current publication standards in renowned academic journals.
