Dr Eng. Michał Klepka
Assistant Professor

A lecturer, director in a joint-stock company, entrepreneur, technology broker, and innovation manager. A person with strong practical orientation, combining the experience of a manager, entrepreneur, public official, as well as an engineer and doctor of exact sciences.

One of the first policy makers in Poland supporting regional development through innovation. He played an important role in implementing Regional Innovation Strategies and Smart Specializations in Poland - also supporting European institutions in innovation policy initiatives. He developed his skills and competencies working in international teams from the USA and almost all European countries, in many projects financed by the 6th and 7th Framework Programme, Horizon 2020, Interreg Programs, Visegrad Fund - and continues this activity to date. He also received an individual scholarship in Norway.

He is also an inventor and innovator, holding a registered industrial design “box in the shape of Poland,” which confirms that he knows innovation from both theoretical and practical perspectives. He is currently developing his product and working on new technical innovations.

Because he believes that the ability to interpret trends is a key aspect of personal and professional development, he has a particular approach to education, where cooperation with students focuses on mutual learning and strengthening potential. The engineering aspect in his bloodstream makes this process more interdisciplinary and valuable for students.
