Workshop will be held in Warsaw on Friday-Saturday, October 9-10, 2015.

The great recession, the crisis in the euro area and various (geo-) political tensions have increased the interest in the effects of uncertainty on economic cycles. How can uncertainty be measured? How does it affect the plans and decisions of businesses and consumers? Especially investment and saving decisions might be affected. Economic tendency surveys and surveys in general might be one instrument to measure uncertainty and its influences. Submissions on these and other topics broadly related to this special focus theme or to Economic Surveys (and thereby the aims of CIRET in general) are welcomed.
