PhD, Tax Manager at EY Brussels and a researcher and lecturer at the University of Antwerp, where he is affiliated with the Antwerp Centre for Responsible AI. He has also worked as an expert for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and as a researcher at the University of Antwerp’s DigiTax research centre. His academic research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence and machine-learning algorithms by tax administrations in the EU and the implications of their use for taxpayers’ fundamental rights
