International Development Assistance in the Contemporary World. Framework of Engagement: Poland and Other Players
The conference “International Development Assistance in the Contemporary World. Framework of Engagement: Poland and Other Players” is a follow up of the conference which took place almost one year ago (16 December 2024) under the title “International Development Assistance in the Contemporary World.”
The goal of this new conference is to discuss the concept of a book and two papers that have been produced after the December event. The latter texts will be included in a volume edited by R. Bartkowiak, Z. Polański, M. Rutkowski and K. Zalas-Kamińska.

- Information on the processing of personal data
1. Administrator
The administrator of personal data is the Warsaw School of Economics with its registered office at al. Niepodległości 162, 02-554 Warszawa, hereinafter referred to as SGH.
2. Data Protection Inspector
The personal data administrator has appointed a Data Protection Inspector, who can be contacted via the e-mail address: iod@sgh.waw.pl.
3. Purpose and legal basis for processing
Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of registering and participating in the scientific conference entitled: “International Development Assistance in the Contemporary World”, including communication in connection with the organization of the conference, and in the case of submitting an article - in order to prepare a post-conference publication. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 section 1 letter e Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation ), Journal Device UE L 119 of May 4, 2016, p. 1, as amended, hereinafter referred to as GDPR, i.e. implementation of public tasks, in connection with the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science.
4. Voluntary provision of data
Providing personal data is voluntary, failure to provide data means that you will not be able to participate in the scientific conference.
5. Data recipients
If the administrator uses the services of other entities, personal data may be disclosed to them on the basis of contracts entrusting the processing of personal data, and these entities will be obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the processed data. Information about the principles of personal data processing can be found on the event website.
6. Processing time
The personal data provided by you in connection with the registration of participation in the conference will be processed for the time necessary to organize, service and communicate with you in connection with the event, as well as for the period of storing the financial and accounting documentation of the conference, and in the event of submitting an article - for the duration of making the post-conference publication available.
7. Rights related to processing
You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it, limit processing, delete it in cases provided for by law and the right to object to processing.Your personal data will not be subject to profiling, nor will decisions be made in an automated manner based on this data.8.
