UCLouvain (or Université catholique de Louvain) officially in English the University of Louvain) is Belgium’s largest French-speaking university and one of the oldest in Europe (originally established in 1425).
The university welcomes nearly 40,000 students across eight sites in Brussels and Wallonia. Its main site is located in Louvain-la-Neuve, a pedestrianised town created by the university in the 1970s.
UCLouvain trains students in all disciplines, from bachelor’s to doctoral level, and offers numerous continuing education programmes.

Founded in 1831 Université de Namur trains nowadays over 7,000 students of 63 different nationalities. These students work in 7 faculties and an interfaculty department: law, computer science, medicine, philosophy & literature, science, economics, social & management sciences, education and training sciences, as well as the School of Modern Languages.

1. At UCLouvain/UNamur:

and at SGH:

2. At UCLouvain/UNamur:

UCLouvain-UNamur students start the Degree Programme at UCLouvain-UNamur and then move to SGH for the 2nd year. SGH students start the Degree Programme at SGH and then move to UCLouvain-UNamur for the 2nd year.
The language of the programme is English.

- MASTER THESIS
All students defend their thesis at the end of the second year at SGH. SGH students who are in the 2nd year at UCLouvain - UNamur must complete the Master seminar on distance under the supervision of an SGH professor. It is the responsibility of the student to find the supervisor who agrees with it.
The Master thesis shall be written in English.
The defence of the thesis is organized within 3 months from the date of its submission. To be admitted to defend the thesis, the student has to have passed all the exams resulting from the study plan (both UCLouvain - UNamur and SGH parts).
- ADMISSION CRITERIA
Programme candidates must fulfil the following access requirements:
- Students from SGH who intend to opt for the Degree Programme must be regularly enrolled in the Master Programme Master in Advanced Analytics — Big Data or Master in Analiza danych — Big Data or Master in Economics or Master in Global Business, Finance and Governance or Master in Globalny Biznes, Finanse i Zarządzanie (Governance) at SGH; and must prove English language skills at level B2.
- Students from UCLouvain-UNamur who intend to opt for the Degree Programme must be regularly enrolled either in Master en sciences économiques, orientation générale, à finalité approfondie (EC0N2MA) or Master en sciences économiques, orientation générale, à finalité spécialisée (ECON2MS) must prove English language skills at level B2.
Supplementary requirements may be applied in the case of candidates who are not Polish citizens or citizens of a member state of the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland or the UK, and/or for undergraduate studies and long-cycle (or uniform) graduate studies in the case of candidates who graduated from high school abroad and obtained a certificate outside Poland, the EU, OECD and EFTA states, Ukraine, China (Gaozhong cerfiticate only).
Each Institution conducts the application and selection process separately in compliance with the regulations of the Cooperation Agreement regarding the double degree programme.
Both Institutions are committed to selecting students wishing to participate in this Degree Programme according to objective and specific criteria based on equality, merit, and ability. Selection will be mainly based on the following list of selection criteria:
- Study achievements, course, and duration of studies
- Previous research projects, as well as political and/or cultural engagement.
- Knowledge of the language of study and the national language
- Relevance of the programme to personal academic success, career prospects
- Previous experience abroad
- Other extracurricular knowledge and skills
