MASTER'S STUDIES IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AT WARSAW SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS
2-YEAR FULL-TIME PROGRAMME (4 SEMESTERS) - 870 TEACHING HOURS - 120 ECTS
The aim of the programme is to prepare students for their careers in international companies, with strong focus on CEE markets.
Courses will be taught by renowned scholars from the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland's oldest economic university) and from our partner institutions.
You can specialise in:

2. Business in Central and Eastern Europe

WITHIN THE MONTH FROM THE END OF THE EXAMINATION PERIOD THE STUDENT HAS THE POSSIBILITY TO EXPRESS CONCERNS ABOUT HIS/HER GRADES ENTERED IN THE VIRTUAL DEAN’S OFFICE. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME WHEN ANY CHANGES CONCERNING THE GRADES CAN BE MADE.

:: COURSE REGISTRATION FOR SPRING SEMESTER 2009/2010
Every student of of International Business is obliged to register for courses he/she will take this spring semester in academic year 2009/2010. Remember to save your changes in the declaration and to accept the declaration. You need to have at least 30 ECTS in a semester. The course registration is possible only via Virtual Dean’s Office from 8-14 February. You will find more information here.
Attention! 2nd semester students should check their plan of studies. There has been few changes.
E-learning course "Rationality and Moral Choice" with prof. Bołtuć is available this semester.
:: ACADEMIC BOOK FAIR
We'd like to invite all students to academic book fair which will take place on Wednesday (24 February) between 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in building A next to our Office (5A). You will have a chance to buy books for the next semester, order other academic books you might need or just talk to IPS (International Publishing Service) representative.
:: SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
You can always check your scholarship information through your individual account at bookmark/zakładka "Dane indywidualne" in "Informacjach o stypendiach" (https://akson.sgh.waw.pl/stypendia/ ) and all information is there (the decision of Scholarship Commission, your average, the amount of scholarship and a sheet to calculate the average).
If you were awarded a scholarship you need to give your account number to the Student Union so the money can be transfer to it. You will receive the scholarship money around the middle of December.
All the information about calculating and awarding scholarships is on the Students Union website, unfortunatelly it is all in Polish.
:: ERASMUS, PIM AND BILATERAL AGREEMENTS SELECTION PROCESS
Centre for International Programmes informs about opening on 1st February of the on-line application form for Erasmus, PIM and bilateral agreements for academic year 2010/2011. The system will be opened until 15th of February (until 23.59.59). For more information about selection process go here.
:: ERASMUS - NEW REGULATION!!!
ATTENTION! New regulation concerning the participation in Erasmus of the citizens of the so called third countries
We kindly inform you that from 2010 the new principles concerning the participation in the Erasmus programme of the citizens of the so called third countries (i.e. countries not participating in the Lifelong Learning Programme) will be introduced. The right to participate in the Erasmus exchange programme from academic year 2010/2011 will be also granted to the citizens of the third countries who have been admitted to undergraduate, graduate, uniform Masters and PhD studies under the laws in force in the given country.

:: E-LEARNING TRAININGS
Students of Master’s Studies in English at International Business are welcomed to two e-learning trainings: occupational health and safety training, library training. They are both free and obligatory. In the case of not undergoing the trainings the student won’t receive the credit for the semester. The students who have graduated from the first-degree studies at the Warsaw School of Economics do not need to take the above mentioned trainings.

:: DOCTORAL STUDIES IN MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS
The PhD program taught entirely in English will offer doctoral degrees in economics or management. It will last 4 years starting September 2010. Due to financial support from the European Union structural funds the first edition of studies is entirely tuition-free and 25 best full-time students will be eligible for scholarship.
