Microeconomics of Competitiveness

The Microeconomics of Competitiveness is a distinctive course platform developed at Harvard Business School by Professor Michael Porter that is designed to be taught in collaboration with universities around the world. Warsaw School of Economics has joined the MOC program in 2009. The course is run in English by professors from SGH.

The program is targeting graduated students from all programs run in Warsaw School of Economics. During the course students explore the determinants of national and regional competitiveness building from the perspective of firms, clusters, sub-national units, nations, and groups of neighboring countries.
 
The course is taught using exclusively case method and based on materials developed at Harvard Business School. The course platform includes extensive library of videotapes of case protagonists, heads of state, senior ministers, governors, and others. Each student of MOC course gets login to a MOC-SGH website where all needed course materials are available.
