Collegium of Management and Finance
Collegium of Management and Finance is a research unit including 19 chairs. It is a powerful SGH centre, both with regard to the didactic offer as well as its scientific and research potential.
All the chairs included in the Collegium carry out scientific research and research and development activities within the scope of scientific disciplines represented by these units.
These disciplines consist of:
- theory of economy,
- finance and banking on macro- and micro-economic scale,
- economic policy,
- consumption economics as regards research on the standard of living of population and quality control,
- theory of management,
- marketing,
- business law,
- accounting,
- management on the level of national and company economy,
- logistics and transport servicing of the economy,
- quality management,
Our research primarily focuses on Polish economy. Besides team projects, all the chairs carry our different types of individual research. These researches bear fruit in the form of numerous publications, such as books, articles and papers, as well as in the form of progress made towards scientific degrees.
Research activities of the chairs are correlated with didactic activity. Within this activity members of our Collegium perform didactic activities at all levels of teaching and for all fields of studies. The Collegium organises (on payment basis) post-graduate studies within the issues connected with management and finance. Interdisciplinary character of the Collegium causes that chairs it consists of also offer a wide range of professional expertise.
