The Collegium of Economic Analysis
Research on demographic, economic and social processes, is based on modern quantitative methods and analytical techniques, and conducted within such disciplines, as demography, statistics, econometrics, mathematical economics, economic computer science, economics and economic policy. Both theoretical and empirical aspects of processes under study are taken into account.

Main fields of research interests:
Research, both basic and applied, is conducted in the field of micro- and macro econometrics, statistical and mathematical methods for analysis of economic processes. Scientific activity is focused on population change in developed countries, especially on demographic developments in Europe, theoretical aspects of economic growth, business cycles, and on monitoring tendencies in Polish economy. Subject of interests are methods and techniques of optimalization, time series analysis, financial econometrics, Markov modeling, Bayesian statistics, mathematics of finance and insurance, mathematical economics, game theory, macroeconomics, microeconomics, industrial economics, labour economics, monetary economics, pension economic and regional, institutional, social and metaeconomic aspects of contemporary development economics. They concentrate on models of economic systems in the perspective of efficiency, competitiveness and innovation. Other area of activity is concerned with the development, use, application and influence of Management Information Systems.
