Irena Krystyna Hejduk

Irena Krystyna Hejduk is the head of Department of Management Systems at the Warsaw School of Economics. Her primary expertise is trust management, knowledge management, intellectual capital and virtual organizations. Together with Professor Wiesław Maria Grudzewski they were pioneers in the field of knowledge management in Poland as well as in the team with PhD Anna Sankowska and MSc Monika Wańtuchowicz have built a theory of trust management. They have recently completed their book, Trust management in virtual work environments: A human factors perspective (2008) published in the U.S. by Taylor and Francis Group. She is a member of many international and Polish scientific associations, and has published 35 books as well as more than 300 articles and research papers in the field of knowledge management, technolgical enterpreneurship, and consulting for SMEs.
