General Information
The Department of Corporate Analysis (Katedra Analizy Działalności Przedsiębiorstwa), founded in 1994, constitutes a part of the Collegium of Business Administration. The Department almost entirely took over the achievements of the former Department of Enterprise’s Economics (Katedra Ekonomiki Przedsiębiorstwa), which for many years was led by an eminent and well-deserved for Warsaw School of Economics Professor Tadeusz Kierczyński. Since its foundation the Department of Analysis of Enterprise’s Activities is managed by Professor Stanisław Kasiewicz.
The Department of Corporate Analysis is an acknowledged academic institution in Poland focussing on teaching and research in many fields of corporate activity. Currently, it has a dedicated teaching and research staff consisting of two professor and six associate professors.
Departmental members have been research collaborators in and consultants to a number of domestic and international businesses and governmental organizations. The Department also maintains collaborative relationships with a number of universities and research centers.
An integral part of the Department is a Chair of Risk Managament (Zakład Zarządzania Ryzykiem). Also a Student Association of Consulting (SKN Konsultingu) is acting within and in strong cooperation with the Department.
