From 19 until 23 September SGH hosted 17 representatives of partner universities from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Canada, USA, Iceland, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, and Egypt for the Erasmus+ International Staff Training Week organized by International Centre within the Erasmus+ programme.
The training program was designed by the International Centre team in collaboration with prof. Marzenna Weresa Dean of the Collegium of World Economy and staff of the following departments: Office of Admissions and Education Support, Education Development Centre, Project Support Office and the Library. Thanks to the presentations the participants got acquainted with SGH research and teaching areas as well as with information on organizational support, which SGH offers to Polish and foreign students and staff.
International Centre also organized a panel discussion on possible forms of future cooperation between the universities, which was hosted by prof. Jacek Prokop - Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and prof. Krzysztof Kozlowski - Vice-Rector for Teaching and Students.
Participants had also the opportunity to attend a lecture by prof. Piotr Płoszajski: "The Fourth Industrial Revolution Challenge This Management Education".
In addition to the training International Centre organized as well a session on Polish culture and history including lecture "How to read Poland: crash course on history and culture" and sightseeing tours of Warsaw and Krakow.
The organization of the Training Week was coordinated and managed by Małgorzata Chromy and Marta Ferenc.
