The Warsaw School of Economics owns three recently renovated dormitories in its vicinity, in the middle of the green district of Mokotów, housing annually over 600 regular SGH students from outside Warsaw. Every semester, the CIPD offers a limited number of rooms to exchange students in the Sabinki hall of residence, five minutes away from the campus.
The available on-campus accommodation are double rooms, shared with another international student. Each room is equipped with basic furniture, has an Internet jack and a phone plug as well as all the necessary bedclothes and linen. On every floor there are two shared bathrooms and kitchens. The dormitory also offers a canteen, free laundry, gym, TV and snooker room, grocery store and its own cafe Equilibrium. For more information on Sabinki hall of residence please, visit the FAQ section.
A monthly rent is 405 PLN per person plus a returnable deposit of 400 PLN payable upon check-in.
All exchange students can apply for on-campus accommodation via on-line application forms accessible with your personal login and password.
Deadlines for application are:
- 29th April – for Fall semester
- 29th October – for Spring semester
Due to high demand we are unfortunately unable to guarantee a place in the dormitory to every exchange student. Therefore, on-campus accommodation is assigned on first come-first served basis and it is in your own interest to fill in the application form as soon as possible.
Approximately 3 weeks after the application deadline you will be electronically informed whether or not you have been provided with on-campus accommodation and asked to confirm your choice. Once the CIPD Officer receives your confirmation, full information on check-in terms and conditions will be provided to you.
Please, be aware that roommate assignment aims at maximizing the blending of nationalities and is done randomly. Thus, in all likelihood you will be separated from any fellow students and friends from your home university/country.
